This unique Twixmas river cruise holiday not only includes the finest sections of this magical region of Germany, but you will also enjoy two specially arranged party nights on board.

4-Day Break

Day 1 – Early morning coach pick up and journey to Dover/Folkestone for the 10:00am crossing to Calais. Alternatively join at the Holiday Inn Ashford. We will then journey to Boppard to join your vessel in time for your included three course evening meal. D

Day 2 – This morning we cruise to Koblenz where you will have time to explore this fascinating town. After your included lunch, perhaps join our optional magical Moselle tour, taking in Cochem and a famous wine cellar. This evening after dinner, we include a party night with live entertainment. B,L,D

Day 3 – While you are enjoying breakfast this morning, your vessel will be cruising downstream through the most scenic sections of the Rhine Gorge to Rudesheim for time at leisure. Arrival here will be after lunch and this afternoon you might want to join our optional Siegfried's Mechanical Muski Kabinett excursion followed by sampling Adolf's famous gluhwein. This evening after dinner, we include a second party night on board, with live entertainment. B,L,D

Day 4 – Bid farewell to our vessel and time permitting, stop at a wine warehouse en route to Calais for the return 5:00pm crossing. Upon arrival you will be returned to your original departure point. B

Magical Moselle & Wine Tasting (£19.99)
We begin our tour in Cochem, the centre of the Moselle Wine Trade and a showpiece gem that has been rated as one of the prettiest and charming villages along the Moselle. The town square, lined with its half-timbered houses, is particularly striking, as is the Reichsburg Castle that dramatically rises above the town. The old quarter is dominated by the late-Gothic imperial castle and is dotted with medieval squares and lovingly restored timber-framed houses - architectural gems typical of the Moselle region.

Gluhwein Tasting & Siegfried's Mechanical Musik Kabinett (£19.99)
Close to the famous Drosselgasse in Rüdesheim, is the first German museum of automated musical instruments. The museum has one of the largest and most beautiful collections stretching from the 18th to the 20th century with about 350 self-playing instruments. It provides an insight into music, traditional techniques as well as the joy of still being able to understand how these instruments work. After you've enjoyed a guided tour, enjoy a mug of gluhwein to warm you before exploring the famous Christmas markets.
