4-Day Break

Dec 27 – Local departure by coach then onward to our hotel in Valkenburg for a three-night stay.

Dec 28 – Valkenburg (included); Maastricht (optional). Spend a day at leisure in the charming town of Valkenburg, which is situated on the River Geul and overlooked by its quaint castle ruins. Time to explore the variety of restaurants, or you may prefer to see the castle and the spectacular Gemeentegrot Caves. In the afternoon, we enjoy an optional visit to nearby Maastricht. B, D 

Dec 29 – Rhine and Moselle Valleys (included); Rhine Cruise and Winetasting (optional). Today we include an excursion to the Rhine and Moselle. During the day an optional Rhine cruise and optional winetasting in the Moselle Valley will be available. B, D

Dec 30 – Return to the U.K. B

Accommodation

You’ll stay for three nights at the 3-star Hotel de Bogaerde in the centre of Valkenburg. The hotel has a lift and all bedrooms have T.V. and telephone. The restaurant and bar are located in the adjacent sister hotel, the Hotel Walram, where you can also use the indoor swimming pool, sauna and solarium.
