4-Day Break

Dec 27 – Local departure by coach then onward to Ostend, the ‘Queen of Belgium’s seaside resorts’, for a three-night stay.

Dec 28 – Bruges (included). A morning excursion to Bruges. This medieval city has much to charm the visitor, including its pretty squares, cobbled streets and serene canals. Visit the Christmas market before our return to the hotel and then spend the afternoon in Ostend with time to walk along the promenade and see the quaint harbour. B

Dec 29– Brussels (included). We enjoy a full-day excursion to the capital city of Brussels, where you’ll have time to wander around the impressive selection of shops and to take in the sights, including the majestic Grand Place, where you may decide to sample the local specialities in one of the tempting cafés. B

Dec 30 – To Calais, then return home. B

You’ll stay for three nights at the 3-star Ramada Hotel, located within short walking distance of the beach, casino and shops of Ostend. The hotel has a restaurant, bar and lift. All bedrooms have T.V. and telephone.
